The extraordinary catches by the outfielders, the amazing plays by the infielders, along with the excellent pitching and hitting had the Thunder’s fans up on their feet, jumping and cheering with excitement, even at the very late games, including the ones nearing and well-after midnight. All the boys played their hearts out, making for very exciting games!

The coaches said they were extremely proud of how hard the boys competed, especially having to play the nine games in just three days.  This done due to the bad weather. Due to the great efforts with regard to performance and character, this team is to be congratulated for the exemplary manner in which South Plainfield was represented this year.

The South Plainfield Jr. Baseball Club would like to express sincere appreciation to Coach Lou Presutti for creating a dream come true for thousands ~ young and old ~ at ‘Cooperstown Dreams Park’!
