EDISON, NJ – Senator Patrick Diegnan, Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin and Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak formally announced the start of their re-election campaign to the New Jersey Legislature.
"I wanted to make sure that it is clear from the outset of our campaign that we are about finding common ground that best serves our constituents. We have more in common than what divides us," said Diegnan (D-South Plainfield). "Coming together is where the best ideas are found and where we will all find a way to rebuild this state and this area into a fairer and more prosperous community for our families."
“Our record stands fighting for the middle class and all residents of Middlesex County,” Pinkin (D-East Brunswick) added. “I have dedicated my life in public service towards expanding access to quality health care, working with the business community and state officials to create jobs and economic opportunities for our commercial sector, as well as making college affordable, which will ultimately impact every family in our state.”
“Our record is a clear indication that we are the best candidates to work towards a New Jersey economy that works better for everyone; to grow our economy from the middle class out," said Karabinchak (D-Edison). "We want to re-invest in our institutions of higher learning and vocational academies to make them affordable and grow a focused flexible workforce that fits with the burgeoning job creation in our state."
Diegnan, Pinkin and Karabinchak represent the Middlesex County municipalities of East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen, South Plainfield and South River. Senator Diegnan is the Vice Chair of the Senate Law & Public Safety Committee. In addition, he sits on the Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee and Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism & Historic Preservation. Assemblywoman Pinkin serves as Vice Chair of the Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee, as well as serves on the Assembly Health and Senior Services, and Public Safety Committee. Assemblyman Karabinchak serves on the Assembly Consumer Affairs and Assembly Environment Committees.
