SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Iselin’s Joe Duffy scored 16 points, and Kyle Alvarez pumped in another 15 points to lead John F. Kennedy High School to a convincing 63-44 boys' basketball victory over the South Plainfield Tigers Monday night in South Plainfield.

The Mustangs outscored South Plainfield, 17-5, in the second quarter, and built a 19-point lead at halftime. Brandon Bernard collected 14 points and seven rebounds for South Plainfield. The next game for South Plainfield will be on Wednesday in Middlesex.
