EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ- The Township of East Brunswick, Department of Recreation & Parks and Ashley Home store will co-sponsor the East Brunswick SPRING FEST. They are proud to be Community Partners working together on this great family event! SPRING FEST will feature an Arts Festival, Farmers Market, Food Trucks and day long live music on Saturday, June 3, 2017 (rain date June 4) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. outdoors at its new location the East Brunswick Community Arts Center at 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
On hand will be the areas favorite Food Trucks; Empanada Guy, Zinna’s Eatz, Food For All Food Truck, Cheezen, Mrs. Fu’s Yummy Food Truck, Oink and Moo BBQ, The Little Sicilian Riceballs, Igloo Italian Ice and Ice Cream, Madame Pearl’s Liege Waffles, and House of Cupcakes.
Live music on the outdoor stage will kick off at 11:00 a.m. with favorite children’s entertainer, Mr. Ray. Following at 1:00 p.m. will be a Tribute to Bob Dylan hosted by the East Brunswick Arts Commission. Local guitar and vocalist, Tommy Aboussleman and Friends will pay tribute to Nobel Prize Winner, Bob Dylan. Wrapping up the music at 4:00 p.m. will be Bob Denson’s Blues with hometown musicians Bob Denson and Angelo Mancuso.
The 15th Annual Arts Festival 1will be held with 65 artists exhibiting their work, demonstrating their talents, and offering original art and craft items for sale. This well-publicized event has attracted artists from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Original work in oil/acrylic, watercolor, photography, sculpture, graphics, drawings, pastels, mixed media; and fine hand crafts including glass, pottery, jewelry and accessories, mosaics, stained glass, turned wood, woodcrafts, and more will be represented.
The Arts Festival will have plenty of Kids Activities including painting and craft projects all day long. Face Painting and Balloon Twisting from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Artist People and Pinot’s Pallet will be hosting both free activities as well as a painting activity for a nominal fee. Added to the event this year will be a photo area with plenty of photo ops! Be sure to bring your camera or smart phone for those unforgettable pictures.
The June Farmers Market sponsored by The Township of East Brunswick and the East Brunswick Department of Recreation and Parks will have market vendors from all over the Garden State. Many of the popular favorites will be back this year such as Bakers Bounty, Pickel Licious, and Gourmet Creations and more.
It is sure to be a great day for the whole family!
