SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Dancing Iris Photography invites the community to come to the Grand Opening of their new Fine Art Photography Gallery on Saturday, February 7 from 12 to 5 pm.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at noon, with South Plainfield Mayor Matt Anech and members of the TriCounty Board present to help cut the ribbon. There will be a raffle and light refreshments.
“I had a wealth of fine art photography in storage that no one was able to see,” said artist Dorothy Bellew. “This gallery will allow me to showcase 10 years of unique images of nature, from landscapes collected in my travels to exquisite floral close ups.”
Bellew has studied with various professional photographers and National Geographic and has displayed her work at the Watchung Art Center, the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown and at the South Plainfield Library. Bellew is currently displaying her work at Overlook Hospital and is the featured artist at Mulberry House tea room in Westfield.
The gallery features a selection of already framed prints, as well as a collection of matted photos in three sizes.
“This is a great opportunity to find just the right gift for Valentine’s Day,” said Bellew. “You can give the gift of flowers that never fade!”
Bellew will be donating 10% of the proceeds from the Grand Opening to Meals on Wheels for South Plainfield.
