Freezing for a Reason!

For the past 25 years, the Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside has been a marquee fundraising
event put on by the Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) for Special Olympics New Jersey.
Since its inception, the Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside has raised over $21 million and has
had over 80,000 Plungers jump into the Atlantic Ocean! In 2018 alone, the Polar Bear
Plunge at Seaside raised a record  $2,212,019 as 7,169 brave participants took the frosty Dip.

Alex Ruchaevsky was one of the brave last year and he aims to repeat in 2019.

"I have always wanted to do the Polar Plunge and when I found out that it was for the Special Olympics, that was all the incentive I needed," said Alex. " I am super proud of my son Tyler, and all the great athletes that represent South Plainfield.

Please help me support Special Olympics New Jersey by making a donation through my fundraising page for 2019 Plunge at Seaside. Even a small donation will help me achieve my goal! The process is fast, easy, and secure.

Don't forget to say hello and congratulate the athletes when you see them around town. It will mean a great deal to them.
