Fugitive Wanted in Connection to Sky Zone Robbery Arrested and Charged

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – South Plainfield Police report that the man wanted in connection with a 2016 robbery at Sky Zone South Plainfield was located in Newark and arrested Feb. 15 by the U.S. Marshals Service.

According to police, back on Oct. 30, 2016, Jamie L. Horne, 40, of Florham Park, allegedly conspired with Monique Valentine, an employee at the Hadley Avenue Sky Zone, to steal the night deposits. On the night of the incident, police state that Horne, armed with a handgun, held an employee at gunpoint and demanded overnight cash deposits totaling several thousand dollars.

Back in December, Valentine was arrested back and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Additionally, Horne was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and aggravated assault. He is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center awaiting a bail hearing.
