The victory improves South Plainfield’s record to 17-2-3 on the season while Summit drops to 13-7-2.

South Plainfield Coach Anthony Perfilio had these poignant words to say when asked about his Tigers “It’s hard to put into words what we are feeling.  I am not sure if we are pushing so hard to win or not let the season end.  We are just peaking at the right moment and we hope it continues.  It’s been a fun ride so far.”
