SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Since 1919, Holy Redeemer Cemetary has been serving the needs of Catholics in South Plainfield.  On Saturday it unveiled a new crypt and columbarium near the front gate as part of its effort to continue to meet these needs, and afterward it conducted an open house highlighting the new offering.

Father John Alvarado conducted the dedication and was joined by Mayor Matt Anesh and Councilman Derryck White, as well as Lynda Yelenovsky, the cemetary's business adminstrator and South Plainfield Funeral Home manager Mike Castoral.
