SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Holy Savior Academy of South Plainfield will join with schools throughout the country on Sunday, Jan. 28 in celebration of Catholic Schools Weeks 2018. The focus of the week long event, celebrated annually during the last year of January, is to shines a light on Catholic education. This year’s message is ‘Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed!’

“This theme encompasses the core products and values that can be found at Holy Savior Academy. Not only are we teaching students to become future servant leaders, faith-filled disciples, and enriched citizens in our communities, educators are growing with them,” said Carol Woodburn, principal of th preK-3 through eighth grade Middlebrook Deanery Catholic School.

“At Holy Savior Academy, we are all learners, servants, and leaders. These shared qualities are what make Holy Savior Academy work! They are what makes our school and its members succeed,” continued Woodburn, noting that this year’s theme also focuses on key elements of Catholic education: faith development, academic excellence, and dedication to service. “These elements set us apart and the primary reason why families make sacrifices to provide their children with a Catholic education,” she said.
