The South Plainfield Borough Mayor's Wellness Committee and the South Plainfield School District participated in the annual International Walk/Bike to School Day on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

The Mayor's Wellness Committee promotes adult supervision and participation with children and adults around the world to celebrate the healthy benefits of walking and bicycling to school.

Principal Ellen Decker-Lorys stated she was “in awe at the bicycle rack filled with over 24 bicycles belonging to students who rode their bikes to school.”
