SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council #6203 and Sacred Heart Church, will again be sponsoring Lenten Fish Dinners on February 12th, February 19th, February 26th March 4th, March 11th & March 18th.
Dinners will be served in the Holy Savior Academy Cafeteria located at 149 South Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, from 5PM to 7PM each Friday during Lent.
The menu will feature fillet of fish (Fried, Broiled, Parmesan, Cheese Ravioli, Manicotti and Linguini) or Pizza; Fresh Garden Salad and choices of Rice Pilaf, French Fries, Macaroni and Cheese, Cole Slaw, Coffee, Tea, or Cold Drinks, plus Dessert.
Prices are $10 Adults, $9 Seniors and $5 for Children
Take-out orders are also available.
Stations of the Cross will be held in the Church at 7PM.
Father Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society at a time in the United States when Catholic immigrants were being forced to renounce their Faith in order to earn a livelihood for their families. Our mission as Knights of Columbus, is to keep Father McGivney's dream alive, to actively seek out Catholic men and invite them to be a part of our community of Christian family life through participation in our social and fraternal programs of service to our Church, community, and youth.
