PISCATAWAY, NJ - En route to his 3rd individual Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament Championship, South Plainfield High School High School (SPHS) Junior 120 pound wrestler Joe Heilmann recorded his 100th, career win in the quarterfinals against Erick Valentin from Piscataway. He went on to record 101 and 102 in the semifinals and finals. In addition to earning his third tournament title, Heilmann was named “Outstanding Wrestler” in the lower weight classes.

Joe Heilmann is the 21st SPHS Tiger to eclipse the 100 career wins mark and joins his brothers Troy (157 wins) and Nick (154 wins) in this exclusive club.
