All young people ages 8 through 14 are invited to participate in the 2018 Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest sponsored by the South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council #6203. Students that attend any schools in South Plainfield are welcomed to participate. Students are encouraged to develop an original poster and slogan idea designed to discourage their peers from experimenting with drugs and/or alcohol.
There will be a division for youngster’s ages 8 to 11 and a division for youngsters ages 12 to 14. Contestants are to choose only one category, either Alcohol Awareness and Abuse or Drug Awareness and Abuse. All contestants will be recognized for their participation. All entries will require the entry form to accompany the poster and must be returned to your school’s office no later than Friday, February 23, 2018.The posters and entry forms can also be dropped off on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 between 7:00-8:00PM at the Knights of Columbus, 334 Hamilton Blvd, South Plainfield, NJ.
They can also be dropped off at Sacred Heart or Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish Centers by February 23, 2018.
First place prizes of $50.00 will be given out for each category and each age division.
