SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - All young people ages 8 through 14 are invited to participate in the 2016 Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest sponsored by the South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council #6203. Students who attend any South Plainfield Schools or students who are home schooled are encouraged to develop an original poster and slogan idea designed to discourage their peers from experimenting with drugs and alcohol.
There will be a division for youngsters ages 8 to 11 and a division for youngsters ages 12 to 14. Contestants are to choose only one category, either Alcohol Awareness and Abuse or Drug Awareness and Abuse. All contestants will be recognized for their participation. All entries will require the entry form to accompany the poster and must be returned to your school no later than Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
The posters can also be dropped off at 7:00PM on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 or Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Knights of Columbus, 334 Hamilton Blvd, South Plainfield, NJ.
First place prizes of $50.00 will be given out for each category and each age division.
