SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The 12U Tigers softball team hit a rough patch in this year's Summer Classic Softball Tournament in Clark on Father's Day weekend, going 2-3 and falling just short of moving on to the semi-finals.

Despite some tough losses, the team came together in two Saturday games, defeating the North Edison Blue Devils 11-9 and the Branchburg Blaze 5-2.  Batters Catherine Delair, Megan Celentano, Jillian Holoboski, Bridgette Titus, Jackie Battista, and Rachel Rokicki all scored in the games, with Holoboski and Flasser contributing to the victories on the pitching mound.

Things didn't go as well for the Tigers on Friday and Sunday. Despite strong pitching performances from DeLair and Flasser the Tigers were unable to scratch out a third victory, which would have advanced them to the semi-finals.
