Dear Editor

Last year I wrote about how then Mayor Candidate Doyon and her team’s signs said in bold “elect democrats” on the top of the sign.

The 2018 sign spoke for itself. Remember in 2018, in her mind, the political party came first, and everything else secondary.  It was just a glimpse of who they would answer too. Not the people. The political party would be first and the residents would be last. Now fast-forward to 2019 and now Council Candidate Doyon is telling us she’s “the only choice to have a voice”. If it’s a voice of a political party like you promised in 2018, its not the voice we want.

We want a voice of a leader who will listen to us like Mayor Anesh and his entire team

Mayor Anesh and his team are the people who dress up and read to our children at the library. The ones who drink coffee taking questions from our seniors, the ones who work on the back of a DPW truck during Superstorm Sandy, the ones who are at every event in town, and the ones who always answer our calls and most importantly listen to us. The only clear choice is to support Mayor Anesh and his team who, this year, includes Melanie Mott and Pete Smith.

If you are voting for the people to always represent us residents and not a political party, vote for the Mayor’s team.
