I am running this year for State Assembly in the 18th District. I am a lifelong resident of South Plainfield and am now raising my family in my hometown.
It’s time we bring some common sense to Trenton. My experience as a Councilperson has given me the ability to work with everyone and come up with positive solutions.
We also need to send Trenton a message.
Let’s all not forget that Governor Murphy’s budget this year cut state aid to South Plainfield’s schools by more $180,000, while almost every other town in Middlesex County saw big increases.
This is no surprise from a Governor that also says “if tax rate is your only issue than this is probably not your state.”
In contrast, Mayor Anesh has done a great job in keeping taxes under control, while providing more for our residents.
On Tuesday we have an opportunity to add two great people to the Mayor’s team. They are Melanie Mott and Pete Smith.
If we have someone in Trenton who will fight for our fair share and have Melanie and Pete on Council, South Plainfield will always continue to move in right direction.
We hope to earn your support on Tuesday.
