The Boyle Memorial Foundation 21st Annual Golf Outing took place on June 3, 2017, at Heron Glen Golf Course.  The winning foursome pictured below were  Michael Duddy, Rocco Romanella, John Mesinger and Matthew Betz pictured left to right with Bob Boyle.

The Boyle Memorial Foundation, which is a 501 (c) (3) hosts this Golf Tournament in honor of James and Doris Boyle who resided in South Plainfield for 48 years and spent much of their time volunteering and giving back to the community.

Over the years, Robert and Debbie, along with their children Megan, Michael and Patrick and Bob's sister MaryAnn and brother Jim have continued to carry out James and Doris's service through the Boyle Memorial Foundation.  The mission of the foundation is to make the lives of those in need better by  relieving financial burdens and enable and encourage young people to follows their drams by awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors.  The foundation has donated a batting cage at the Jr. Baseball Club, the entrance way to the Soccer Club, the field B scoreboard and sound system at the South Plainfield Ponytail fields, rings for the SPHS soccer, competition cheer and the softball teams' rings, donations for Ads in the Booster Clubs journals, Summer Drama Journal, the garden at the High School Bill Mosca Field, The Gold Card Picnic food, the SPHS Football Camp lunch, The SPMS pond, SPHS Varsity Softball uniforms,  Field of Honor and American Legion Uniforms.  The Boyle Memorial Foundation continues to support the Community of South Plainfield.
