SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Last evening a good samaritan driving on Oak Tree Avenue, near Putnam Park, came across a friendly, but lost dog.  The dog was brought to the South Plainfield Police department where its friendly demeanor became an instant hit in the 911 department.

South Plainfield officials report the dog was brought home by one of South Plainfield’s finest (a non-furry cop) so the lost four legged friend would not have to be in the cold for the night.  This morning the owners contacted the South Plainfield Police Department and the owner, and his dog, are being reunited.
