SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Tigers used a 16-6 second-quarter spurt to go on to defeat  Perth Amboy Tech 47-37 in the play in round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament.  South Plainfield’s Mike Polizzano hit three, three point shots in the decisive second quarter of play to put South Plainfield up 26-11 at half.

South Plainfield’s Chris Mathis once again led the Tigers in scoring with 19 points.  The high scorer of the game was Perth Amboy Tech’s Jordan Little who pumped in 20 points for Perth Amboy Tech.
