First-place winners at the county level are automatically eligible to advance to the State competition. Only one entry per artist is accepted on the State level.

Professional and non-professional artists are invited to enter. They will be judged separately.
All registration forms must be submitted by July 1.

“On behalf of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, I would like to encourage all our senior artists to share their work with our community,” said Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios.

“Every year I look forward to seeing the submissions because we have such talent here in the County,” said Freeholder Blanquita B. Valenti, Chair of the County’s Community Services Committee.

The categories (for both professional and non-professional artists) are: acrylic painting, craft, digital/computer art, drawing, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, sculpture and watercolor.

Winners from the County contest will participate in the State competition in September.

For more information regarding categories and eligibility guidelines or to obtain an entry form, call the Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services at 732-745-3295.
