SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield High School Music Department would like to congratulate several students who auditioned for the NJMEA All State Band Program this past January. Students Elizabeth Lee- (Senior, Piccolo- All State Orchestra), Robert Lenau- (Sophomore, Percussion- All State Wind Ensemble 1 & Orchestra) and Joshua Persad- (Junior, Percussion- All State Wind Ensemble 2) auditioned against others who qualified through the state region program back in the fall. These students then auditioned against the rest of the qualified musicians in the state to advance to the All State level.

The All State rehearsals will take place at South Brunswick High School before their concert February 25th at NJPAC. The All State Programs will be conducted by Wind Ensemble, Keith Brion, Conductor of The New Sousa Band and the Symphonic Band by  Richard Blatti,

Director Emeritus of Ohio State University.
