OBITUARY FOR KARLI ROSE COLAPIETRO

Karli Rose Colapietro, 15, of South Plainfield passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  Born on October 20, 1999 in New Brunswick to James and Tracy (Naso) Colapietro, Karli was a life-long resident of South Plainfield.

Karli enjoyed being a freshman at the South Plainfield High School. She was a member of the chorus and the Jerseyan History Club.  She adored Goofy and enjoyed puzzles.  Karli was the best sister to her brother “JT’, who loved her very much.  She was an outstanding, lovable girl who will be missed by her loving family and cherished friends.

Karli was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, James Colapietro and her maternal grandfather, James V. Naso.  She is survived by her devoted parents, James and Tracy Colapietro of South Plainfield, her loving brother, JT Colapietro of South Plainfield, her three beloved grandparents, Frances and Theodore Gielen of South Plainfield and Katherine Colapietro of Delaware. Karli will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. She also leaves behind her beloved pets; Bay, Buster, Jingles, Venus and Goldie Locks.

Visitation will be on Monday, Nov. 3rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ. Karli’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home.  Her interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.  In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in her name to, Prader-Willi Syndrome Assoc.
