SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield Police Department and the DEA are coordinating the National Take Back Initiative, whereby unused, unwanted and expired medications can be surrendered by the public for safe destruction.  The event is scheduled for Saturday October 22, 2016 between the hours of 10am and 2 pm. The collection point will be the South Plainfield Courtroom located within Borough Hall.  This program is anonymous and we ask the following to assist in a successful and safe drug destruction.

Drugs may be dropped directly into the disposal box but if you do leave them in their original container we ask that you remove any personal identifying information on the container.

Liquid products should remain sealed in their original container

Syringes and other sharp instruments will not be accepted.
