Lucy Petruni, a friend and volunteer at the Sai Datta Peetham, the Hindu Temple in South Plainfield, who has helped me with backpacks and school supplies for students in need of assistance for the past six years, and Rao G Desu, M.S; R.Ph, of Carepoint Pharmacy in Piscataway, NJ. reached out with an offer to donate masks to our South Plainfield Seniors and families in need of assistance.  I was able to accept this gracious donation and, in turn, donated masks to South Plainfield Senior Citizen’s Director Tree Olano and for families in need of assistance.

Rao G. Desu explained that he came to this country for pursuing my masters in LIU ( Long Island University), Brooklyn for Fall 1990. I graduated from LIU in Industrial Pharmacy 1992 and became registered pharmacist by 1994. I worked as a pharmacist in Eckerds and as a pharmacy consultant in various hospitals until 1998.

In Oct 1998 acquired small neighborhood community pharmacy in Perth Amboy under the name of Neighborcare Pharmacy. Later expanded into various locations like Piscataway, Bayonne, Hoboken, Jersey city, Old bridge and Elizabeth.
