SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Jessica Montes, 28 of Piscataway, has been identified as the victim in the 4th of July fatal motor vehicle accident on New Brunswick Avenue. Montes, who was a phlebotomist leaves behind her son as well as numerous family and friends.

A small shrine with candles and pictures has been erected at the site of last Wednesday’s tragedy on New Brunswick Avenue.

Ruddy Custidio, 30, of Piscataway, was the operator of the motorcycle, and Montes the passenger at the time of the fatal accident. Custidio has been issued a number of motor vehicle summonses including driving while intoxicated.

According to police Custidio was driving on New Brunswick Avenue near Carlton Way, when he lost control of his 2016 BMW motorcycle.

Montes is a 2008 Piscataway High School graduate. Services will be held tomorrow Monday, July 9, 2018 at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road Piscataway, NJ 08854 from 5:00pm -9:00pm. Cremation will follow privately.
