Ronald J. Kabara, 73, of Edison died on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at home. Born in Sayreville, he resided in Milltown before moving to Edison 14 years ago.

He was employed by Ford Motor Co. in Edison for 40 years, before retiring in 2000.

Ron was a parishioner of St. Matthew's RC Church in Edison. He was devoted to his family and friends and had a passion for antique automobiles.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Frances Kabara and two children, Mary Ann and Ronnie, Jr. 

Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Kathleen; children Susan DiFrancesco and her husband Joseph of South Plainfield, Joseph Inzirillo and his wife Kristen of Edison and Anne-Marie Mejias and her husband Isaac of Green Brook; two brothers Joseph Kabara and his wife Geri of Sayreville, Paul Kabara and his wife Annie of Sayreville; a sister Kathy Cocco and her husband Gary of Freehold. He is also survived by six grandchildren Gabe, Sarah, Giavanna, Ava Jean, Sienna, Sophia and many nieces and nephews. 
Ron is also survived by his special buddy Snickers.

Services will take place Wednesday, August 12, 2105 at 8:45 AM from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's RC Church. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin. Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9.
