SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Sai Datta Peetham (SDP) in South Plainfield was founded by Mr. Raghu Sankaramanchi in March, 2014.  The Peetham is founded based on the preachings of Shiridi Sai Baba.  When our saint Sai Baba was alive, his principles were collated in a book "Sai Satcharitra", based on which SDP's main mission is to feed the the hungry and to help the needy.  Donating the school supplies to the children is a gesture of our mission to serve the South Plainfield Community.

From Day one, SDP started contributing sandwiches, chips, snack bars, and boxes of fruits every weekend to the resident homeless shelters in and around the area.  Our Priest, Mr. Raghu Sankaramanchi's mission through the Peetham is to follow Sai Baba's words and put them into action to help our community.  Contributions given to Debbie Boyle included Back Packs, calculators, pens, pencils, scissors, colored pens, erasers, notebooks, notebook paper, folders, binders, rulers in an overwhelming abundance.

Board of Education member, Debbie Boyle said “We are so grateful to Sai Datta Peetham for the generous contributions to our South Plainfield School District students.”
