SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield 12U Softball Teams had an amazing year, from start to finish, or better yet from Spring through Fall, 12U White and Tigers piled up the wins while leaving the competition in the dust.

The 12U White Spring team kicked the year off by winning the D2 Parkway Spring League.  The Tigers went 7-1-1, and beat Parsippany in the finals, 10-4.  

During the summer, the 12U team went on an 18-0 winning streak.  They won the Colonia Tournament beating Ramsey in the finals, 6-2.  Next the Tigers won Edison’s 25th Annual Giuliana Velona Firecracker Tournament.  The Tigers remained unbeaten, and blanked South Brunswick in the finals, 8-0.  The Tigers then hosted a 14 team tournament at Pitt Street Park.  The Tigers remained hot, and shut out the Queens NY Bulldogs 10-0 in the finals.

Players for the Spring and Summer Team:  Izzy Barbara, Maddy Barry, Ava Cabrera, Lucy Chabrak, Samantha Culver, Emily Davis, Maria Fuschetti, Emma Hoppe, Alyna Hosein, Daria Mazzarese, and Stella Sweeney.  

The 12U White Fall team picked up right where the summer team had left off.  These lady tigers went undefeated and won the Long Hill Fall League.  They defeated Hunterdon Pride in the finals, 9-3.  

Players for the Fall Team:  Ava Cabrera, Lucy Chabrak, Ava Chapman, Emily Davis, Maria Fuschetti, Emma Hoppe, Daria Mazzarese, Paige McAuley, Raika Stiglic, Stella Sweeney, and Erin Townley.  The Tigers finished the fall with a 14-1-1 record.
