SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - SPARC (South Plainfield Amateur Radio Club) is proud to present the club’s results from the June 25th and 26th, 2016 Field Day Contest. SPARC wishes to thank all of the residents who stopped by Spring Lake Park to visit and wish us well.  In addition to the mayor and members of the council, were members of the press, visiting Amateur Radio Operators from the surrounding area. SPARC would especially like to thank the South Plainfield Office of Emergency Management, Middlesex County Park System and South Plainfield Rescue Squad for their support during all aspects of this event.

SPARC operated under the Call Sign of: NJ2SP; ARRL/RAC Section: NNJ; as a Class 3 Participant.

SPARC had (18) Participants; and its Power Source was a Solar Battery.

SPARC’s CERT members will be participating with South Plainfield Office of Emergency Management (OEM) at the following events:

Saturday, July 30th: Christmas in July in Downtown South Plainfield from 10a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Tuesday, August 2nd: National Night Out(NNO) taking place behind Borough Hall from 6 to 9 p.m.
