SAYREVILLE, NJ – South Plainfield senior Nick Polizzano scored both Tiger goals, and teammate Jacob Villacres assisted on both of Polizzano’s goals to lead South Plainfield to a 2-1 victory over Sayreville. Polizzano had his 5th multi-goal game of the year, and increased his team leading goal total to 13.

“Polizzano and Villacres are connecting nicely, said South Plainfield Head Coach Anthony Perfilio. “We got a little lucky here tonight, and now we have to come and play against New Brunswick.”

South Plainfield had its toughest outing of the year versus New Brunswick dropping their earlier contest by a score of 8-0. South Plainfield since that loss has rebounded nicely and won seven out of their last eight games.
