SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Brownie Troop 65057 recently learned the South Plainfield EMS does more than emergency calls for the residents of South Plainfield. Volunteer member, Tim Kelly held an instructional first aid and safety class for Brownie Troop 65057 on January 20th.  The girls learned about basic first aid, emergency situations, what 911 is, when to call 911, and stranger danger.

The class ended with a tour of an ambulance, and the Brownies earned their first aid patch along with a fun ambulance tour patch.

“The troop would like to thank the South Plainfield EMS for giving back to the community,” stated Bella Rowlands, mother of one the Brownies. “If you would like to help the Rescue Squad in continuing offering free service, think about donating.  Donations are what keep them able to help our town.”
