The South Plainfield Business Group held their annual Holiday Breakfast on December 19th at Sherban's Diner on Front Street in South Plainfield. The breakfast was well attended with members of the muncipal government and the board of education as well as the business community. South Plainfield Assemblyman Patrick J. Diegnan attended and swore in the 2014 Business Association Officers. BRIDGEWATER, NJ – Somerset Patriots left-hander Aaron Laffey has been signed by the New York Mets and is expected to report to the Triple-A franchise in Las Vegas.
