SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Girls Soccer Team captured their 1st victory of the season in convincing fashion overwhelming Perth Amboy 6-0. Claire Nagel led the Tigers scoring two goals and assisting on two others.

South Plainfield received contributions across the board on both offense and defense. In addition to Nagel’s two goals, Kaitlyn Gray had two goals and an assist. Justice Lipuma had a goal, Andrea Avelar added a goal, and Alexis Curtis chipped in an assist.

South Plainfield goalie Andriana Reyes recorded her first win of the season turning away all 18 shots she faced.  The victory puts the Tigers record at 1-2 on the season. South Plainfield next game is home September 15th against Middlesex.
