SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The South Plainfield Girls’ Gymnastics Team will be donned in pink leotards as they take on South Brunswick later today in the second annual “Think Pink” meet. The South Plainfield gymnastics’ team has had a slow start to the year with a few girls out sick and healing from summer injuries.

The “Think Pink” meet allows both teams to raise funds and donate those funds to their local organization of choice.

“The girls just love this meet because they get to give back,” said South Plainfield Head Coach Meredith Garofalo. “This year we asked South Brunswick to sell tee-shirts with us and to donate as well, and they have done an awesome job.”

Although, it is a “Think Pink” day do not let fundraising activities fool you. Both teams are very competitive and practicing hard as the “Think Pink” day rolls around on the calendar. TAP into will be on hand to report all the jumps, rolls and action of “Think Pink” as it happens.
