SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield High School DECA group attended the South Plainfield Business Association meeting on March 24, 2016, to present the DECA program to the business members.  This program, which has grown vastly in the past two years, provides students the ability to compete on a Regional, State, and National Levels.   They students present Business and Marketing Programs, which they formulate and use these programs to compete with other DECA Groups.  The advisor for the SPHS DECA Group is Kayla Bryant-Khanutin.  The South Plainfield Business Association, by motion, donated $600.00 to the six students who will be competing, to help with their fundraising to cover the cost of their trip.  All of the SPHS student extracurricular programs need to fundraise to cover the cost of their events.     The DECA students’ picture below are:
