SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - South Plainfield High School students John Delacruz and Sara Reineke participated in the Central Jersey Music Education Association Region Chorus Concert on Sunday, January, 26, 2014. Senior John Delacruz auditioned and was accepted into the Mixed Choir and junior Sara Reineke auditioned and was accepted into the Women’s Chorus. The choirs consisted of students who auditioned and were accepted from across central New Jersey. After only four short rehearsals they performed varied challenging repertoire from all across the globe including a piece from the Philippines. “It was a wonderful experience and I got to meet other talented musicians from across New Jersey and perform with them,” said John Delacruz.
