SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield Knights of Columbus, Council #6203 held their annual Trivia Night Fundraiser at the South Plainfield Senior Center on November 14th. Twelve teams and over 80 people attended this fundraiser and over $2,000 was raised and proceeds will be donated to the Middlesex County Make A Wish Foundation.

 The twelve teams were asked 10 questions from 10 categories and whichever team answered the most questions correctly, was deemed the winner. The “Smarties” won their 1st trivia night title with 47 points; coming in second place was “Lost and Found” with 45 points. Team members of the Smarties are as follows: Joe Wilkowski, Una Morgan, Vincent Camizzi, Jane Hancock, Vicki Camizzi, Chris Camizzi, Cathy Keane and Kevin Keane.

 The following Knights helped with the event, judges were Steve Belanger, Billy Butrico and Grand Knight Tom Pollock. Knight Charlie Butrico wrote all the questions and was also Master of Ceremonies.  Knight Joe McGeehan donated the wine that was given away as prizes. Mayor Matt Anesh donated proceeds from the weddings he performs to pay for rental fee for the Senior Center.

The Knights have donated over $20,000 to the Make A Wish Foundation over the past nine years from this popular event. The Knights thanked all involved for the preparation of this event and all who attended.
