South Plainfield Lady Tigers Celebrate “Double” NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II Title

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – South Plainfield High School’s Lady “high rollers” gather early Tuesday morning to celebrate their latest achievements and don their new championship attire. No the event wasn’t held at Atlantic City. These girls are high rollers of a different suit. They are South Plainfield’s Girls Bowling Team which just won their second consecutive NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II Title.

The Girls got together to celebrate and receive championship sweatshirts donated by the generosity of the Boyle Memorial. “It is so exciting to be here with the Bowling girls that have been doing so well, and we are just proud to be able to donate the sweatshirts from the Boyle Memorial Foundation,” said Debbie Boyle.

In addition to winning the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II Title, the South Plainfield girls racked up an impressive 16-1 record. South Plainfield Lady Tiger Lanasia Neal also won the individual NJSIAA State Bowling Title.

The morning celebration included:Lanasia Neal, Melissa Novak, Emily Sukenik, Hallie Bisgaard, Chelsea Alers.  Coaches Brian Panek and Dave Knarr, Acting Principal Ronnie Spring, Athletic Director Al Czech and SPBOE President Debbie Boyle.
