COLONIA, NJ – South Plainfield’s Sarah Cargill scored 12 points and teammate Amanda Harper scored another 11 points to help the Lady Tigers come from behind to defeat Colonia 38-33.  Colonia jumped out to a 1st half 20-15 lead in the game.  “Colonia really slowed things down,” said South Plainfield Coach Kevin Hughes.  “They really make you play with patience.”

The Lady Tigers kept their composure and were able to come back in the game.  South Plainfield outscored the Patriots 23-13 in the 2nd half to walk away with another hard fought victory.  The win improves South Plainfield’s record to 7-2 on the season while Colonia drops to 2-7.

“I was very happy with how we stayed with things and played well in the second half,” said Coach Hughes.
