SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield Public Library has donated $3,000 of its fine revenue to the South Plainfield Social Services Department to assist residents in need for the holiday season.
Library Director Linda Hansen, Library Board President Darlene Cullen, Library Board Vice-President Christina Faustini and Library Board Finance Chairperson Nina Rohrer presented the check to Social Services Director Marge Ackerman. The Library Board members present as well as the library director said they were "glad the library is able to help those in need around the holidays. The donated monies are going to be used to help those that need help the most. This is what makes our community so great.”
