SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - South Plainfield Public Library will present The Beatles: From Liverpool to Abbey Road on Saturday July 15 at 2pm.  Rock historian and Beatles scholar Vincent Bruno will present a lecture that follows in the footsteps of The Beatles as they embark on their historic journey starting from their early days as a cover band in Liverpool and Hamburg, into the excitement of Beatlemania, through their groundbreaking studio albums (Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Peppers) to their remarkable final recordings at Abbey Road. Coming full circle, he will explore the highlights of each individual’s post Beatles work.  As a Beatles scholar and storyteller he looks to both embrace not just their legacy but to present an entertaining, interactive and informative session for both the casual listener as well as the hard core Beatles fan.  Slides and audio clips will enhance this lecture. This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
