SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Throughout the day Oct. 13, the South Plainfield Public Library will host its 3rd Annual Fall Festival.
The festival, which will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature free fun and family-friendly events for adults and children of all ages. All activities will take place outside on the Willow Park Playground located behind the library.
“The Fall Festival is one our favorite programs of the year,” said Library Director Linda Hansen. “This event is great for parents and kids of all ages.”
The library’s fall festival will feature special fall-themed crafts and games as well as contests and prizes. There will be free doughnuts and cider, temporary tattoos, and more. A special guest reader will be on hand for an 11 a.m. Scarecrow Storytime and, new this year will be a petting zoo from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Additionally, there will be pumpkin painting; attendees are encouraged to bring their own pumpkins to decorate with the library providing the paint, ribbons, buttons and other supplies.
“We hope the residents will stop by this year and see all the fun activities planned,” said Hansen.
