SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The South Plainfield PBA Local 100 will be teaming up and gearing up with the Mayor’s Wellness Committee to participate in next October’s Tough Mudder Competition.

For several years now, members of the South Plainfield PBA Local 100 have been taking part in the Tough Mudder obstacle course event series.  There are a number of participants in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont events as well as the World’s Toughest Mudder finals.  For the October 8th, 2016 event being held at Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J., we already have eight members committed to run again with several more signing up soon.  The PBA  Local 100 is looking for some of South Plainfield’s toughest to join the ranks in next year’s event.

PBA Local 100 would like to extend an invitation and challenge members of the South Plainfield Community to participate in the event as part of the PBA Local 100 team.  By signing up, you will be given a PBA Local 100 t-shirt, and you will conquer the course with members of the South Plainfield Police Department.  We will also pay for up to 5 community members entire cost of the event.  In the event more than 5 members of the community choose to participate with us, the names will be entered into a lottery system to randomly choose 5 people.  Go to www.toughmudder.com for more information on the event or feel free to contact PBA Local 100 President Lloyd McNelly at lmcnelly@sppolice.com or 908-226-7668.
