SOUTH PLAINFIELD – The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is pleased to announce donations from Investor's Savings Bank of South Plainfield, in the amount of $250, and Twin City Pharmacy & Surgical of South Plainfield, in the amount of $100, both of which will help fund the purchase of T-shirts for runners, walkers, volunteers and other participants at the 4th annual NJ Walks For TS at Mendham on November 23.
The donations were secured by South Plainfield teenager Tommy Licato, who is an active Peer Advocate and fundraiser for NJCTS and participated in the first and second NJ Walks For TS at Mendham events. NJ Walks For TS at Mendham is a day dedicated toward awareness, acceptance, action and advocacy on behalf of the 1 in 100 children and families affected by TS and other neurological disorders.
“The support of New Jersey’s kids like Tommy Licato by Investor's Savings Bank and Twin City Pharmacy is greatly appreciated and will go a long way toward achieving the goals of NJ Walks For TS at Mendham,” NJCTS Executive Director Faith W. Rice said. “We are excited to partner with Investor's Savings Bank and Twin City Pharmacy, which are dedicated toward walking the walk and standing up to help kids with neurological disorders.
