SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - On Sunday Oct. 23rd the South Plainfield Tiger Marching Band competed in the USBands Class IIIA NJ State Championships held at Rowan University. The Tigers competed against 22 other schools in group IIIA from around the state of New Jersey. The band came away with its highest rank at the state level- placing 10th overall and a season high score of 89.638, which surpasses the bands highest score from last year.
Their 2016 Show Distorted Dreams will be on Display at the remaining home football games at Jost field, November 4th- which is also senior night for the Tiger Community.
The last competition for the marching band this season is this Saturday at Ridge HS, where the band will perform their show at 5:00pm. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $6 for students and seniors.
