SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - South Plainfield Wrestlers and Coaches of all age groups (Recreation, Middle School, & High School), Wrestling Club Board, and family members recently sponsored and participated in the 4th Annual Holy Savior Academy 5K Run/1 Mile Family Walk, held Saturday, June 6, 2015, in South Plainfield.  The event promoted community involvement, educational excellence and healthy lifestyles. Proceeds from the race benefitted Holy Savior Academy and Pink SOCS. Pink SOCS is a local foundation that provides assistance to families affected by breast and other forms of cancer.

In photo above, Mayor Matt Anesh, Councilman Derrick White, and South Plainfield Wrestling community participants including Volunteer Coaches Craig Salvatore (1st place in 5K Male 40-49 division) and Jeff Jacome (1st place in 5K Male 30-39 division); SP wrestlers from High School, Middle School and Recreation (K-6) levels; and, SP Wrestling parents, who participated in the event, are pictured in their SP Wrestling pink headbands recognizing the breast cancer awareness theme of the event.

Participating SP wrestlers pictured above are High School Team Co-Captain Dan Hedden and his teammates Kyle Bythell, Ryan Duhamel, Jake Giordano; and, youth level (Grades K-8) participants were Central Jersey Midget League Team Captain Anthony White (2nd Place in 5K Male 12 and under division), Jack Campagna, Jeffrey Jacome and Nick Campagna.
