SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Throughout the summer, Southside Clam Bar & Restaurant will be offering special weekday pasta and drink specials.
“The summer is a great time to take a break from cooking and barbecuing and let someone else handle the meals," said Southside owner Alexis Broehl.
Every Tuesday through Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., the New Market Avenue establishment will offer 10-percent off all pasta dishes. Additionally, Southside will offer $3 domestic beers and $3.75 imported beers as well as $2 off each glass of wine or 10-percent off all house bottles.
“If you’re in the mood for something light and refreshing, our appetizers will hit the spot or if you’re looking for a fresh meal, homemade meal without having to do the work or clean the dishes, Southside is the place to go,” said Broehl. “Our family-friendly restaurant offers something for everyone.”
Southside, which opened in the spring of 2017, offers a casual, atmosphere with a private dining area as well as a private bar fully stocked with top-shelf liquor. The restaurant features brick oven and a raw bar along with an extensive menu of seafood, beef, chicken, pork, and pasta dishes along with appetizers and salads all prepared by Southside’s professional and experienced chefs. A kid’s menu is also available as are desserts and specialty coffees and cocktails.
Located at 118 New Market Avenue, just off of Hamilton Boulevard, Southside is open Tuesday-Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m.; and Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. the restaurant is closed on Mondays but available for private events. The restaurant and bar is also available seven days a week for private parties of 10 to 75 people.
