SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Lady Tiger defense continued to stifle the competition, holding South Brunswick to just one shot on goal, as the Tigers went on to beat the Vikings 6-0. Senior Tatianna Sutor recorded her 11th win in goal for South Plainfield as the Lady Tigers’ record improved to 11-3-2 on the season.

“It was a great team effort both offensively and defensively,” said South Plainfield head coach Melissa Zurawiecki. “We’ve been working hard on doing the little things correctly. The girls came out intense and were ready from the start.”

The Lady Tigers were ready from the start putting the game away early scoring four first half goals. South Plainfield’s Lauren Calvey scored twice while teammates Lauren Zultowski and Lynda Farinella each contributed a goal and an assist. Ashley Olsen and Jennifer Grasso also knocked in a goal apiece to round out the Tigers’ goal scoring.
